Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fall update could bring a major patch and spooky event

Ubisoft has unveiled a new roadmap for the approaching autumn within Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The company will soon release a patch and the new Discovery Tour with its upcoming 1.3.2 on October 5. The company has not revealed any specifics about the update yet, however, taking a look at earlier game updates, we expect to get a mixture of each bug fixes and new content material. Also Read – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fall update could bring a major patch and spooky event

To recall, the 1.3.1 update added some new rivers to ravage in River Raids, along with some new abilities and gear. Apart from these, the update brought in many bug fixes and other new elements. We expect the 1.3.2 update to have similar changes in terms of the update size

The Discovery Tour on PC is expected to be followed by a main game replace later within the fall. The company is reportedly looking at the Title Update 1.4.0 as an extra vital replace.

To recall, the 1.3.0 update was released alongside the Siege of Paris DLC and included a number of new options, bug fixes and the enemy degree scaling feature. This replace kicked off the Sigrblot festival, which is why the 1.4.0 update is expected to kick off the Oskoreia Festival, where we expect the game to feature a Halloween look.

Love Gaming? Google has a job for you

Online gaming has garnered a lot of support over the past couple of years. The availability of online game streaming platforms such as Apple Arcade and Google Stadia have only made this journey a tad bit easier. And now, Google has a rare opportunity for Stadia fans.

Google is planning to expand its Stadia team. Aligned with this aim, Google has posted a job listing for the Post Manager for Stadia on its Careers page. The company is looking for a candidate with at least four years of product management experience with technical products with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, UI and program management among others.

So, what is Google aiming to achieve by expanding its Stadia team? Well, the job listing does reveal some details if not a lot in this regard. The job description section of the listing shows that the tech giant is aiming to expand the availability of its cloud-based game streaming service, that is, Stadia even further. To give you a quick background, Stadia is already available on Android TV, Chromecast-enabled devices, and iOS. Later this year, it will be available on LG’s smart TVs via the company’s WebOS. Now, the company is planning to make the service available on a more diverse device portfolio.

“In addition to building our own video game platform, we see an important opportunity to make our infrastructure and tools available to partners who want to build their own interactive streaming platforms,” Google wrote in its job listing.

“We are working on custom-built hardware and rapidly evolving open source technology to deliver a seamless gaming experience across multiple devices,” the company added. This indicates that Google is planning to make Stadia available on devices by other tech companies. It also indicates that the company is also planning to expand its own hardware portfolio in this regard.

So, what kind of devices is Google looking at? The job listing shows that Google is keen on expanding the reach of Stadia to more and more TVs. “Lead our approach to TV, making cloud gaming available on more devices…Work with vendors to scale the ecosystem of devices which support Stadia’s hardware and software requirements,” the listing says. LG TVs will be getting support for Stadia later this year. So, it is possible that the company is targeting Samsung’s Tizen-based TVs and Amazon Fire TV sticks next. Beyond that, the listing doesn’t reveal much.

In case you get selected, you’ll be headed over to Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California. That’s another perk, you do not want to miss out on!

Pokemon Unite Is a New MOBA Game Coming to Nintendo Switch in July; Android, iOS Release Set for September

Pokemon Unite is being developed by The Pokemon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Pokemon Unite does not have an exact release date yet
  • The game will feature 19 Pokemon at launch
  • Pokemon Unite supports cross-platform gameplay

Pokemon Unite is a new MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game coming to Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. It will be the first game in this genre set in the Pokemon universe. Pokemon Unite was first announced in June last year and has now finally received a release timeline. The game will arrive on Nintendo Switch next month and on Android, iOS in September. A short trailer was also shared on the game’s official YouTube channel, showing glimpses of the gameplay.

Pokemon Unite will bring 5-on-5 team battles in an arena, a setup that MOBA players will be familiar with. A typical match will involve catching wild Pokemon, levelling up and evolving your Pokemon, and defeating your opponent who is trying to do the same. You will also have to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time to secure a win. The trailer shows lane and jungle gameplay, along with showcasing some unique Pokemon abilities.https://www.youtube.com/embed/MZ0LmFx-tRs?rel=0&showinfo=0

As of now, it has a roster of 19 Pokemon and developers will most likely add more in the future. There will be over 15 types of Held items that will improve a Pokemon’s stats. There are also various battle items that players or trainers can use to support their Pokemon. Defeating wild Pokemon will give Aeos energy that has to be collected and deposited into the opponents’ goal zones. The team with the most deposited points at the end wins.

The game is being developed by The Pokemon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios. It will release on Nintendo Switch next month, though there is no exact release date. Android and iOS users will be able to experience it starting September. Pokemon Unite will support cross-platform play between Switch and mobile devices. It will add support for French, German, Italian, and Spanish languages later this year.

WhatsApp: Message claiming ‘new communication rules will be implemented’ is fake. (Express image)
“Two blue ticks, and one red tick means the government can take action against, while three red ticks will mean that the government has started court proceedings against you.” This is what a new message claims on WhatsApp, though it should be noted that all of the claims made in this viral message are fake. A similar three red ticks message had gone viral last year, and was debunked last year as well.

The message claims WhatsApp has introduced new communication rules and is being shared at a time when the Facebook-owned app has gone to court over the government of India’s new IT rules, which include a traceability clause.

The viral message, which has the ‘forwarded many times label’ says once the new rules are implemented, all calls will be recorded and social media accounts will also be monitored. It says if a user shares a negative message against the government or on a religious issue, then you will get arrested. Again, all of the claims made are fake and users should not forward this message.

The fake message even claims that your devices will get “connected to the ministry system.” The viral message also asserts that the Facebook-owned company has implemented a new tick system, allowing users to find out if the messages they are sending are being checked by the government.

Mumbai Based Company Working On A Game Inspired By GTA Vice City

According to a Moneycontrol report released yesterday, Mumbai-based game developing company GameEon has already started working on developing an open-world game inspired by the likes of classics like GTA Vice City.

Having over 30 games in the Google Play Store with a combined download count of over 100 million, this will be the first venture of GameEon to the world of PC video gaming.

GTA Vice City is a renowned game across the world, but it managed to gain an exceptional player base in India due to its unique gameplay mechanics and enjoyable storyline. Developed by Rockstar Games and published in 2002, GTA Vice City follows the exploits of a mobster Tommy Vercetti, the game’s primary protagonist, after he is released from prison.

GameEon has decided to name their upcoming title ‘Mumbai Gullies’. According to the report, the game will allow players to explore virtual city-like environments within the game while pursuing a storyline or completing “missions”.

Mumbai Gullies will primarily be a single-player game focused on the storyline, similar to most GTA titles. However, Nikhil Malankar, founder of GameEon, has left open the possibility of a multiplayer version in the future depending on players’ feedback.

Interestingly enough, Malankar claimed that the game has already been in development for the past five years.

“We wanted a game that would represent our city just like GTA Vice City,” he said to Moneycontrol.

While it’s still unclear when will the game finally release, Malankar said that the game will likely take another 2 years to produce. He further mentioned that it’ll only be available to play on PC at the time of its release.
